I have been honored to be asked to design The Goddard Memorial Monument, to honor Robert H. Goddard, the father of the space age and inventor of the liquid fueled rocket.

It is a 10 sided polygon which will have 8 large panels depicting the life and achievements of Dr. Goddard, surrounding a 10 foot high centerpiece, depicting an abstract "rocket and launch tower" to be made of stainless steel.

This is a composite of a photograph of the actual location the memorial will be built, and a photograph of a small model of the monument. This is approximately what the entire site will look like when it is completed.
